Walk and swap
Find a free partner, ask your question and then swap your card.
Every pupil has a card of their own with a question and the answer on the back. Within the chosen time the pupils look for as many partners as they can. Together they first answer each other's question, check the answer and then swap cards.
Used by 3,000+ teachers in the Netherlands and Belgium
How Walk and swap works
Print the cards double-sided, with the question on the front and the answer on the back.
Choose how many minutes to play and start the timer on the digital board.
The pupils walk around and look for a free partner (whoever is free raises a hand). They ask each other their question, check the answer and answer the partner's question.
Then they swap cards and go to the next partner. That way they meet as many partners as possible within the time.
Tip
Want to play on several levels? Print the task cards on different colours of paper.
